The Gula
The Gula is seldom spoken of; he is the boogeyman of the superpowered world. Unbelievable as it may be, this beastly being was raised by his grandmother. His ghastly powers came to fruition when he and his grandmother were abducted by a group of vandals. The trauma resulting from the event twisted the Gula’s mind in such a way that he felt he could never be good again.
The Gula decided that if he was to be a villain, then he would become the greatest of villains. He discovered that if he could hold a powered individual inside of his stomach long enough, he could absorb their powers along with the person. Their power would then become his own. The Gula went in search of heroes he could devour to strengthen himself, which would later allow him to consume even stronger ones.
The Gula must quelch his hunger to survive. The more he exerts himself the hungrier he becomes -and the hungrier he becomes… the more dangerous and lethal he is.
