Big Jim
Former heavyweight champion William “Clinch” Warsaw lost his arm in an unfortunate auto accident. Unable to cope with the loss of the limb and his ability to compete, William sought out Robert Henstrom a robotics expert at The Torrent Medical facility.
Dr. Henstrom was able to build a biomechanical replacement for William that would appear to be normal, but warned him to be mindful of the strength inhibitor he installed. If the settings were changed, his arm would be out of sync with his body and he could possibly hurt himself or others.
Upon returning to the ring, William, fearful of losing to his opponent altered the settings. The next punch killed his opponent almost instantly. When it was revealed that his limb was biomechanical, William was stripped of his title and banned from boxing indefinitely. Having nothing else to lose William became “Big Jim” and turned to a life of crime.
